Whole30Fabric Challenge: 20 Yards Down

Yes, I am still doing the Whole30Fabric Challenge that I started in the summer of 2024. And if I’m being honest, I can’t believe it took me nearly a year to sew an additional 10 yards.

In 2025, my creative focus shifted in ways I didn’t fully anticipate. I spent much more time in the garden, not only growing food but also learning how to preserve it — cucumbers, tomatoes, and radishes in particular. Between harvesting, canning, and wrapping up my summer garden well into early October, sewing naturally took a back seat for a while.

As I move into this next season, I’m being more intentional about how I balance my hobbies. Instead of setting aside an entire weekend for one project, I’m dedicating smaller pockets of time throughout the week to each interest. That shift, doing a little at a time, is what ultimately helped me reach the 20-yard mark in this challenge.

I’ve shared a YouTube video breaking down all of the projects that make up this second 10 yards, and I’d love for you to watch and let me know what you think.
